Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at this Jif Marine three-step gunwale hook ladder. Has a 250 pound weight capacity. Now, you can hook this three-step ladder onto your boat's gunwale so that you can climb aboard your boat, and then you can remove it and just stow away when you're heading home. You can see the hooks and the braces right down here will fold in for a nice, easy storage.The frame is an anodized aluminum construction, makes it very lightweight and rustproof.

Total weight is only about eight pounds. The steps themselves are a plastic step. They are injection molded and UV resistant. And basically this will just easily hook over your boat's gunwale. There's no installation required.

You can see it has these two fold out braces with the rubber bumpers that'll brace the ladder against the side of the boat to protect the boat. And then again, you just hook that over the gunwale and it'll hold it into place. If you notice the hooks on this, they are 11 inches deep and they are vinyl cover, so it allows the ladder to tightly grip your gunwale, and it's also covered with vinyl so it'll protect the boat from any damage.A few specs on this, again. The weight capacity is 250 pounds. The total height of this ladder if we measure from the very bottom to the highest point is going to be 40 inches tall.

Total width is one of the steps, that's the widest part, is going to be 15 inches wide. We mentioned the hook depth. If we measure that is going to be right at 11 inches.Now this is the three step model. We do also have this available in a four step model, which is part number JIF63FR, and a five step model, which is JIF83FR.
